Cecilia Bergman

I’m Cecilia Bergman.

As a Director of Strategy at Part and Sum, I support and nurture the team, making sure every project lives up to the vision that it set out to accomplish. I also support across people and business development.

An experienced strategy consultant, consumer insights and branding expert, Cecilia is driven by the desire to do meaningful work that enables clients to reach their goals. She’s an avid traveler, TV watcher and book reader, a kickass mama of two, and a proud Latina from Brazil.

For the past 17+ years, Cecilia has worked across print production, art buying, design, consumer insights, branding, media strategy, and UX. She started her career as a print producer and naturally shifted into brand strategy. This evolution allowed her to follow her passion for both creativity and strategic thinking. Having worked at several agencies and design studios all the way to Sao Paulo, in Brazil, she felt that a natural next step was to conquer the US advertising market.

Aside from supporting the team, Cecilia also plays a key role in developing long lasting relationships with her clients, fostering respect and partnership. She leads thoughtful feedback sessions and mentors the team in their career development, as well as pitching Part and Sum and developing proposals to prospective clients.

I think that’s the case for many strategists on our team, which makes sense: In order to understand customers, you need a deep understanding of people, experiences, and motivations. I get really excited about research, getting into people’s spaces, and learning about their lives so I can help solve their problems. This goes both ways, with clients and their customers.”
