As the Senior Measurement Scientist at Part and Sum, I am a core part of our analytics team. Through advanced analytics, data modelling, and dashboarding, I transform raw data into insights that power business and media strategy.
About Josiah
Josiah has spent his career synthesizing complex data infrastructure and clear, actionable business strategy. Currently, he is an integral part of the analytics team at Part and Sum.
He manages data architecture, designs analytics solutions, and builds the dashboards that keep partners informed. His work ranges from the setup of data integrations to executing advanced analytics and testing like Media Mix Modeling and GeoLift analysis.
Josiah has extensive experience in building scalable solutions to blend marketing data with advanced analytics and business growth strategies. He takes pride in turning raw data into standardized reporting that empowers clients to measure everything from user behavior to long-term profitability.
Some of his past achievements include developing custom LTV and product frameworks that provide milestones for long-term profitability and product strategy. He also was an integral part of designing conversion lift studies that map user funnel touchpoints, allowing partners to accurately measure the impact of different marketing strategies.
When he is not working, you can find him traveling the world or exploring the wilderness.

Josiah’s POV on Data & Analytics
“I’ve always had a healthy skepticism of “analytics for the sake of process.” To me, we find the real value of analytics when we don’t get lost in the technical weeds and instead intentionally use data to hone in on how brands provide intrinsic value to its customers. When you find that balance, you create an authentic experience that truly engages and empowers users to make decisions for themselves. I believe that is ultimately more effective than just throwing ads in front of eyeballs.”
When we're not collaborating...
- I love being outside and spending time in the mountains (Mainly skiing and rafting!).
- Traveling the world - I really enjoy meeting new faces and seeing new places
- Trying new things. It’s a good day whenever I get the chance to figure out something new or spend time challenging myself.
