Kayla LaRosa

I’m Kayla.

As the Communications Specialist at Part and Sum, I work with our Strategic Innovation team to help bring our stories to life across multiple communication channels.

Kayla has an extensive background in content creation, storytelling, and the professional media landscape.

Over the course of five years, Kayla has held various titles across the live television news production industry. She has worked as as a producer for Nexstar Media Group at an ABC affiliate station in Albany, NY. Kayla has also spent time in the national news world, working as an associate producer and researcher at the CBS Evening News with Norah O’Donnell. Most recently, she was an associate producer at NBC News Now, NBCUniversal’s 24 hour digital streaming news network.

Kayla is also an independent digital content creator, working as the host, producer, and owner of the pop culture commentary YouTube channel, kayla says. In four years, the channel has gained over 110,000 thousand subscribers and has accumulated over 18 million channel views.

Kayla holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Emerson College, and a master’s in communication management from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University. She’s currently based in Manhattan, NY. That’s her story, and she can’t wait to tell yours.
