I’m Nick.

As the Data Analytics Engineer at Part and Sum, I build and maintain data infrastructure that powers client decision-making. I engineer pipelines, model data, and deploy analytics products. I collaborate closely with strategy and growth teams to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights — building everything from automated reporting systems to full-stack dashboards that track marketing performance.

Over the course of his academic and professional journey, Nick Ni has built a strong foundation at the intersection of data engineering and AI innovation. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems Management from Washington University in St. Louis, where he also served as a teaching assistant for the graduate course Applications of Deep Neural Networks.

Nick began his research career at CU Boulder, publishing work on medical image segmentation that explored the potential of deep learning in healthcare. Professionally, he gained hands-on experience as a Data Engineering Intern, where he developed pipelines and analytics solutions to support scalable data systems.

With a background in computer science and a deep interest in emerging AI technologies, Nick continues to explore how machine learning and intelligent systems can drive real-world impact—from automating workflows to enhancing product design.
